Thread Starter
I have a 2 year old ASUS VW266H monitor and i am looking at maybe getting a new and better monitor but the question is can i see a difference between a TN and a IPS Monitor and is there a difference at all?
Thank You

I have that monitor and hate it. The damn thing is blue. I've tried playing with the color settings forever and I've never been able to make it look much better. Pretty much any new monitor is going to be an improvement. Plus the response time and input lag is bad on the Asus.
IPS in general has better colors than TN. The new Korean panels would definitely be an improvement for you.

Do some research into one of the Korean monitors and see if that suits your needs. Most people are going with the Catleap Q270 it looks like.
Personally I'm waiting for the 120hz variant.

I just got my Catleap, and it is Aweinspiring, Well worth the 370 i paid for it.

I, personally, cannot stand TN panels if I have a say (largely due to viewing angles/uniformity), but that's me. Some don't mind them for what I mind them for and prefer the better response and generally cheaper price they have.
