Problem with overclocking the Ram

Hello guys,
hope u doing fine
just wanted to have query from u people that i am currently using ripjawsx 1600mhz 8gb (4x2)

now what i want to knw is that i have tried to overclock the rams but i am not able to get even 1866..
i tried to run the ram on 9-9-9-24 and on 1.65v raised the dram frequency to 1866
but the system doesnt boot even

i have listened that these rams doesnt overclock frown.gif


if these ram overclock then kindly let me knw what timings and what voltage do i suppose to give it??

i have 2600k,z77 fatality pro asrock mobo,8 gb gskills ram

What CL is the RAM set you have? Some may not be able to run higher, just luck of the draw. You could try loosening timings to 9-10-9 or 10-10-10 and see how that goes

well since its 1600 CL9 RAM I would start there - start at what they are rated for

Since you are jumping from 1600 to 1866 you may have to loosen the timings to 10-10-10 in order to boot at 1866
