How do i increase these numbers? (Windows experience index)

ik you probably cant increase the ssd speed or anything, but the cpu i have is quite good imo, its a amd fx-8120, i cant find any reason why its only 7.5. but how do i increase these numbers? does orverclocking have any impact on it? Thanks in Advance smile.gif

Overclocking for me had some impact, I think I went from a 7.4 to 7.6 after I overclocked my 1100T from 3.3ghz to 4.0ghz thumb.gif

I know for the 2500k you have to overclock that sucker way beyond its capability to get 7.9. Dont quote me on this, but i think its 5.8GHz or 6GHz

I wouldn't be worried that your cpu only rates 7.5. My i5 2500k rates 7.5 at stock speeds as well. Both cpu's are just fine.

edit: i think 8150/20 are one of the few cpus that can score a 7.9. btw, wei is like tom's hardware, so i won't go by it.

you should be able to get the cpu to 7.8 with a 2600 cpunb and 4.5ghz cpu overclock
