You have to pull the front panel really hard & hope you do not break it. To remove the top panel you have to stick your hand in the case and push the little clips and lift at the same time. The case IMO is a PITA to work with. Especially the front panel I ended up breaking 2 of the clips. Its very hard to get the front panel off

Can't you just open both side panels, pinch the clips on the front panel from the inside of the case and then pull it off? This is how I do it with my current case but I don't know if this also applies to the Z11.

Just making sure if its worth getting this case, would look sick when its partnered up with my monitor that has a similar style.

• To remove the front pannel you will need Pliers.

To begin, put your case on the front pannel on your bed.

Open it, look at the clips who are in the interior in your case, they are in hard plastic, you have 6 of then.

Two bigs on the bottom, two medium on the middle and two medium on the top you can start to do this by the two on the top or the two on the bottom ( I've done this like that)

Now take your pliers and tight one clip, how you can see the clip is divided into two, you have to put your pliers on the two parts to create "like" one single part.

At the same time push on the exterior with your pliers to remove one clip at one time.

Go on to remove the two of the bottom, two on the middle and the two from the top or vice versa.

Or the three on a side and one other after.

• For the top pannel you have also 6 clips but very small you need a screw driver - no + .

Do almost the same method but push with your finger on the top by the bottom of the clips.

This works or do I need to do a video ? (my smartphone is a piece of **** I won't make one you won't see anything or hear)

Its a pain in the butt & I am telling you the honest truth. Dont get me wrong I liked the case when i first got it but I ended up giving it away because the top panel & front panel removal is alot of work and force

hi, there you have the common user manual for your motherboard:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/manual.asp?Model=Z77%20Extreme4
search on it here :
http://europe.asrock.com/downloadsite/manual/qig/Z77%20Extreme4_multiQIG.pdf

you have many things on that :

16 Reset Switch (RSTBTN)
17 Chassis Speaker Header (SPEAKER1, Black)
18 Power Switch (PWRBTN)
19 Power LED Header (PLED1)
20 System Panel Header (PANEL1, Black)

try to find out one that works, me too I got some search to do for making work my power button on my z77a-gd65 and now it works, just test and try by yourself I can't say you that works

It's a nice case but since I got a Fan controller I am going to have to replace the 2xsidefans and rear fans, because they have only 4-pin molex and no rpm info.

I will replace the front 120mm fan with a 140mm fan with higher cfm that can maybe push through the hdd's, because as it stands the air stops at the front with the hdd's.

Is it correct that the standard configuration is that the:

side fans pull air OUT
top fan pulls air OUT

?

Yes this is normal because you can put a fan on the bottom like this the fresh air will come from the bottom and from the front, like this the "hot" air will get out from the two sides and trom the top and the back, but I think that you can change the position of the side fans to make it aspire the air in the interion on the hdds and to give more air to the gpu and the cpu. I think that I should do this but I'm too lazy

Do you know what the spec of the 2 x 80mm sidefans are?

I'm looking at replacements but I dont know what to compare them to.

This is the fan I am looking at replacing them with:

Zalman ZM-F1 PLUS 80mm fan (32.5 CFM) - http://www.quietpc.com/products/zalmanfans/zm-f1-plus

This is pretty good cfm and also quite cheap. But for all I know this might be the fan that is already in there!

Do you know?

Also, do you know if there is a way to mount another 120/140mm fan between the hdd's and the motherboard?

It's really hard to explain correctly how to remove the front pannel, but the operation is not SO HARD, you just need to make a pressure and to push on the big clips with pliers to mount your 140mm fan.
For the replacement of the two side fans take two led blue fans you will may have a new look, if you want reverse the blowing direction for more effectiveness, but if you want good stuff you have shown me one of the best 80mm fans ! take it you won't be disappointed

I went to a local computer store and saw the Z11 case in person. I got to inspect it around and it felt cheap, The front panel was hard to remove, the clips were wedged in tight as if its not meant to be removed and it was also a small case in person. Heres a newegg customer review made by someone who bought it and it is totally true.

I totally agree with you Remontoire, I don't need someone who spit on my hardware. If OCeaN you don't like it don't say it's bad, okay the front pannel if hard, very hard and by the way almost impossible to remove, but this is a great case, plenty of space and looks very better than all others cases that looks so inexpressive and almost the same by the way.

I love my case, I'm proud of it, it's a stable and robust hardware, it's beautiful and has a great cheeks, a side smokes transparent pannel with shapes and not a simple plate plexi, he has cheeks, he has a robust mouth, the top is awesome.

Stop spit on my case.

If you get your Club thread updated to Official status by contacting the Editor of this section, we can probably clean up the 'negative' posts about the case. Until then, as long as nobody is being offensive/breaking ToS, it's just a thread about the case, and all opinions about the case are going to be welcome ... at least as far as I'm concerned. Other mods may feel differently, though

I think it's a pretty cool looking case. Yes lot's of plastic and such, but I am into unique cases. I don't like your typical run of the mill stuff, like the HAF series for example. I have seen SO MANY I'm just tired of it. This is why I love my LEXA S case by NZXT.

Not hating on the owners or anything, I like the appearance a lot but the functionality is downhill for me. Some people may agree with me, some may not but hey theres a reason why 300+ different cases exist.
