[GS] EA looking at more DLC subscription deals - Page 9

Can I know what is the difference between premium and the expansions of old?

50$ (some people paid less) Gets you B2K, CQ, Armored kill, aftermath and endgame. Thats 20 maps 20 guns maybe more and 8 new vehicles maybe more, (We know nothing about aftermath and endgame).

Bf2 Special forces 30$ 8 maps; maybe 10 new weapons and 4 new vehicles
Armoured Fury 10$ 4 new maps, no new weapons and 6 new vehicles
Euro Force 10$ 5 new weapons 4 new maps 3 new vehicles.

Which amounts to 50$. Plus premium has those other random things which people dont really care about but their still there; camos, new knife etc.

People who don't know anything about the history of battlefield come and rant about how much better bf2 was and how they didnt nickel and dime the customer; when all battlefield games had terrible hit detection and tons of bugs; bf3 actually has the best hit detection in the series. But people just hate, cause around here it cool to hate on battlefield 3. If people think 50$ is too much for premium wait for a sale or something or a coupon. I got premium for 40$ from d2d using a coupon.

I have a feeling if DICE just called it BF3 DLC bundle rather than premium there would be less blind hate and ignorance.

If it was a DLC bundle and none of this premium stuff I'd bee all over it wink.gif The Premium stuff is just rubbish. There's no need for any of it. I won't support it.

Rubbish in your opinion. Not needed in your opinion.

There is technically no need for anything, but people do want things, therefore people provide and people buy.

Why would EA do this, i think they will lose many costumers by doing this. I'm the kind of person who wants to get the full game when i payed $57 for BF3, there's no way I'm gonna pay $70 for Premium as it costs here in sweden, just no way. That's almost $130 for a game!? EA you should really rethink this. mad.gif

EDIT: Just went onto origin and their BF3 page, if you buy the game, premium and all of the shortcut's that are available at the moment, you'll need to pay $260. thumb.gif

I agree, I want the full game when I buy it. All EA does now is push out games unfinished and push DLC that the masses shell out for anyway because it's BF3. Mass effect 3 is a perfect example of this, the extended cut should have been the ending from the release date, thankfully bioware didn't charge for it.

Again, people made the exact same arguments about BF2 when it was released and again about 2142, yet the people who were happy with the game look back on them 6-7 years later with fond memories.

ME3 extended cut ending really should have been in first time though.

There is no need to add "in your opinion" to things I post. It's quite obvious it's my opinion; I'm not "presenting it as fact".

Funny, as I don't recall people giving BF2 as much flak as BF3 has gotten. All I remember is BF2 being praised and people enjoying the game.
