Hello,

I'm looking for a mechanical keyboard preferably $75 and below. I decided to use Ebay and so far there are my options. Are these Mech. keyboards? Which would you recommend?

1) Clicky Keyboard FK-2001
2) DSI BF-I-113 BIG FONT LARGE PRINT PS/2 MECHANICAL SWITCH WINDOWS 7 KEYBOARD
3) ALPS CL 18802 BELGIAN KEYBOARD AEI-001-5080

The third keyboard on the original list is a regular rubber dome. And out of the other two I would definitely take the focus, especially if it is winkeyless. The other one is a Cherry G81 which uses MY switches. They feel most similar to MX Black switches but are even more heavy and you can still feel the membrane that the switch has. It feels like a MX Black/nice rubber dome hybrid. (Link to info on MY switch) The focus is definitely the pick of em all. (Info on Focus)

No, its not all that bad but it does feel a little odd. Kind of like you are typing on vintage MX Blacks with saran wrap over them.

They will last long, if that's what you're asking, but I would really think twice before buying MYs. I have no personal experience with them, but general consensus is that they feel like typing on wet newspaper. eek.gif
Basically, save up for a proper MX keyboard smile.gif
