Does anyone have experience cutting motherboards?

Does anyone know how to properly cut a motherboard? I would like to cut up my old Xbox motherboard to create a geek gift for someone, I was going to cut it up and build something (bracelet, picture frame, ect.).

Does anyone have experience cutting motherboards? Thanks in advance!

A band saw would be the best if you have access to one. That would cut it the cleanest.

I'll see if I can get access to a band saw tomorrow, I need it by 9:00PM tomorrow though (the entire gift).

Any other ideas? How would a hack saw fair? That seems to be my only real option (the hack saw), it's unlikely that I'll end up with a bandsaw.

I don't need SUPER precise cuts, just rough cuts that I can sand down, I'm trying to outline something with it.

It is just very thin metal and plastic. If no band saw or scroll saw is available, a hack saw will work.

I used to have a bunch of old MBs in a box that I always wanted to do something with.

Finished the project today! I used a hack saw and for the more precise cuts I used an oscillating blade.

Worked like a charm, I made a picture frame and a bracelet. tongue.gif I'll post pictures of the finished product later!
