Looks fine. It's not uncommon for drives to pick up a single reallocated sector. Could be a spec of dust stuck to the platter, or something like that. It's pretty common for Samsung and Seagate drives to pick up 1-4 of them within days of being bought. (I replaced a Samsung laptop drive for someone about 2 years ago. It picked up four reallocated sectors within 2 weeks. I thought it might be dying, but it never went beyond that. 2 years later, it's still working... and still at 4 bad sectors.

Anyway, speeds are probably dropping because you're filling the drive. CrystalDiskMark creates a file that it can safely read from and write to, so that it doesn't overwrite anything important. It erases it when complete. As your drive fills, the speeds drop, because you're actually testing further and further into the drive. That's one of the reasons I like HDTune for testing HDDs - it better represents their performance, showing you how they perform all across the platter(s).

hdtuneproahcibenchmarkv.png

Edit: I should clarify - the SMART data that I can see looks fine. But there is a scrollbar in your screenshot... I don't know what's below the visible SMART data.

That is a failing drive

Ignore the junk data. Seek error rate is false. a number cannot be that high. same with temp.

It sounds great to hear he's gonna be fine but the problem is that I reformatted the drive yesterday and did the crystaldiskmark test and it was still slower then with 304gb on it.

The drive will always be slower than it was without data. Performance difference of +/- 10% is fine.

CrystalDiskMark isn't the most accurate test. HDTune usually varies less from run to run. (Although other software can interrupt it and cause downward spikes.)

I've got results from today : (there is nothing changed to the harddrive, everything is still the same)

MB/s = 1,000,000 byte/s [SATA/300 = 300,000,000 byte/s]

Sequential Read : 86.352 MB/s
Sequential Write : 85.181 MB/s
Random Read 512KB : 34.842 MB/s
Random Write 512KB : 54.422 MB/s
Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 0.430 MB/s [ 105.0 IOPS]
Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 1.266 MB/s [ 309.1 IOPS]
Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 1.033 MB/s [ 252.3 IOPS]
Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 1.195 MB/s [ 291.9 IOPS]

and I have another question :

How many hours could my harddrive last because he already has quite some hours

Most drives last between 20000-50000 hours. I had a Raptor that was powered on about 46000 hours. It actually liked being turned on... it worked fine for over 9 years, then when I gave it a 1 month break it died. tongue.gif

The speed dropping is a bit odd. Have you run HDTune over the drive and saved screenshots of it? That's quite useful for later comparison. HDTune has a free version.
