hell, even 6970's are pretty reasonable now, and they just about beat out 7870's, albeint missing a few of the newer technologies.

i dunno, for me 7xxx is still too expensive for the modest upgrade from high 6xxx cards.

The thing is... the 7xxx cards fixed a lot of flaws with the 6xxx cards like poor MSAA and tessellation. Not to mention crazy good performance per watt ratio and thermals. I would not hesitate for a second buying a 7850 especially with the missing presence of an nvidia equivalent.

look my gameing rig with a 5770 plays anny thing on 1080p and guss what thats ony with 2gb ram so yeh go for the second 5770 as this prooves it http://www.hwcompare.com/5917/radeon-hd-5770-vs-radeon-hd-6850/
