Arkham City Vs. Deus Ex: HR

I'm about 10% through Arkham City and I just reinstalled Human Revolution... I've played through the first hour of the game about 3 times now and wondering if its worth it to start over and play through whole thing...

So the question is... Should I finish up Arkham City or start over on Deus Ex: Human Revolution and finish it finally? Which is the better story/game?

I don't get the hype over HR, personally. I personally enjoyed Batman: AC more than HR. But again, that's just me.

I almost never play through games twice and I did with HR. It is the only good stealth game released this generation if you ask me. That said Arkham City is also an excellent game although not nearly as good as Arkham Asylum.

You really can't go wrong with either. I'd play HR if that's what you've already started first. The writing is "game good" and there are a lot of interesting little twists and turns in the game. The ending level is pretty bad but both hub worlds are really awesome to explore and the art style is really great IMO. On a technical level Arkham Asylum is one of the best examples of UE3 done right out there. Both are 8/10+ games to me.

I got HR for 15 bucks or so during the Steam sale. I started but never finished. Not really a huge fan of the game. I'd go with Arkham City to play. Just my opinion.

Finish what you started. Though I must say, Deus Ex: HR seems a little more interesting than button-mashing Batman.

Yeah arkham city seems like all you do is hit X button on controller a million times and level is cleared.. getting kind of boring but I like the Batman story...

I played arkham asylum but only for a few hours then I got bored and I'm guessing AC is very similar. On the other had I enjoyed Human revolution immensely and spent over 20 hours playing it in just a few days. IMO the story was pretty good and had a some decent plot twists, the game play was good and best of all it was actually challenging unlike so many other modern games.

Played both but stopped after a few hours of each. Both games seemed great but I just loose patience very easily in games lately. I say finish AC and then go back to DE:HR.

Exactly what I was thinking.
