GTX560 - 3 displays?

Thread Starter
okay, so i just bought another VH238 asus monitor (1920X1080) Here (making a total of 2)

Is there any way to make a GTX 560 power these 2 monitors, as well as a really old 17" 1024X768?

The third low res monitor would be for really easy stuff, like temp monitoring and quick google searches

Any insight would be appreciated.

You must have two GPUs to use three displays with Fermi products.

This...

aside from certain specialty cards, fermi will require 2 cards for more than 3 monitors.

but it is well worth it. 560s in sli are an untamed beast. 2 560s are stronger than 1 580 and is extremely close to a 590.

if you can, do it.

i am gonna be sli-ing 2 evga gtx 560 2gb sc's as soon as i get the money to get an sli mobo and the card. and also another 1440x900 19in screen so I can run bf3 maxed (smaa no msaa or fxaa) at , 4320x900 and stay above 60fps due to pixel budgeting biggrin.gif

That is not entirely accurate. If you are running in SLI mode then you will only be able to use 2 monitors, as the second GPU is just a slave to the first with no output. If you are not running in SLI mode then the second card will enable 3 monitors.
