Dat Bezel: LG IPS277L / DM2792 / DM92 | 27-inch (3D?) IPS Monitor - Page 2

i'm not so sure it is the computer monitor. it looks nearly the same as at ces, but the box clearly says "the next generation 3d tv".

plus it would kind of suck if it was 27in and only 1920. i think those cheap korean monitors have spoiled me

hm. according to the lg press release it was suppose to come with a tv tuner. guess its more of a hybrid tv/computer monitor then. http://www.lgnewsroom.com/newsroom/contents_main.php?category=6&product_code=39&product_type=39&post_index=1703

I am pretty sure this a PC monitor that happens to have a TV tuner which is pretty cool. My main concern though is will this have DVi and will it allow 4:4:4 Chroma via HDMi.

Looks like the official release date is July 16, but I am not sure if that is just in Korea or worldwide... Anyone have any ideas?

Looks REAL good! Not sure if it has VESA mounts or not though or if it has the AG film that the LG cinema tv's have??

Ha me too! I think it doesnt have VESA mounts, so that means I will have to come up with some type
of custom mounting solution to put it on my ergotron MX arm. Maybe heavy duty 3M adhesive tape would
work if the monitor isnt that heavy.

yeah but that'll drive up the cost on something I'd never use.

How do you know it will be released in July ? i though last years 3d Monitor from LG was released in August . Can anyone confirm this ?

I found on some Korean LG blog that the official release for this monitor is July 16, I don't believe that is the worldwide release. If the last monitors were available
in the US in August hopefully that will happen again this year.
