They still seem like they should be a little lower imo, then again I've never owned a 2700k .

What kind of cooling do you have? What is your ambient temperature? I do think mine are a little high, but I have re-seated three times now. don't know what's going on. My watercooling system looks like this: RX 360, RX240, RX120, Swiftech MCP35X, XSPC Raystorm, and Heatkiller blocks on my gtx 480's.

that's prolly you issue right there.

My ambient temps are cool.. 17-20c if i remember correctly. My computer room is in a smaller sized room in the basement and there are 3 vents blowing central air right into there so my reservoir stays chilly.

my loop setup is.

Detroit Thermo DTSniper water block. 1800gph submersible pond water pump, and giant cooler that was modified as a reservoir. There is also a window a/c machine that was converted into a chiller and my water is not water it's actually -35F pink washer solvent with a few bottles of gas line antifreeze.

those temps there are of the system sitting for 1 week unused and turned on and ran prolly 5 min to get readings. when a/c machine is turned on for an hour or so, idle temps with those settings are -20c +/- a few... lachen.gif

Wow!! That's sweet! My computer sits in the living room of my apartment with no a/c vents near it at all. Like I said earlier, my ambient temps around my pc are 24-25*C. I only have a waterloop, no chiller. I have just been wanting to make sure everything is where it should be before I start overclocking it.
