I'm experimenting for the last 2 days.. And couldn't get stabile 4.8ghz clock (on manual set voltage) with any combination of settings.. I believe me, I tried it in all posible combinations, that in common sence should work mad.gif
Atm I'm trying to do the same (4.8 stabile), but I'm experimenting with offset voltages..
And I wont bother writing down settings, cause nothing worked well on manual frown.gif
Best result were with this settings:
bckl:100; multi:48; llc:ultra high; vram manual:350; cpu current cap:130; vcore(manual):1.45; dram volt:1.65; vccio volt:1.15; ppl volt:1.85
So, I just need some guides, or to put it this way.. I need some good tips on settings like vccio, ppl, c1e, c3, c6... I pretty much come to understand what llc, phase control, duty control, cpu current capability and some other basic settings do, but I'm not sure on how to balance vccio and ppl voltages with other settings and what would make my system more stabile...
So, some help maybe?? biggrin.gif

Is it stable at these settings? Also, unless you are going to oc the ram I would leave dram on auto.

From what I remember, I was instructed to adjust the PPL and did not see any changes. I do not think changing the vccio will do much either. I may be getting those 2 reversed. Try putting both on auto. What is the offset setting you are using? I.E. +.01 or -.005....

At manual set voltage was stabile in Prime for a few hours, but locks or bsod in high end game-ing after a while..
I'm atm testing + 0.08.
About RAM.. I have Kingston HyperX Genesis 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX), Its timings are: 9-9-9-27-1T on 1.65V, so I put it on that settings..
And (at first) vccio and ppl it was on auto, but when I tweeked it, it made my config a little bit more stable, so I set it to vccio: 1.15 and ppl: 1.85
And btw, I red somewhere that between dram and vccio voltage should be a 0.5v gap, so I set them as proposed..

Max temp on single core is 85C, but my room temp is 32C, so its pretty hot, but NH-D14 is doin' its job biggrin.gif

Huh, that seems a little hot. Looks like your chip demands 1.45 to run stable at 4.8. You might want to back it down to 4.5 unless you want to look into water cooling. Have you gone here yet?

This would be the best place to dial this puppy in at. Usually, it is the mobo thread you want to look in for good oc setting and not the CPU as each mobo will be different. I know that when I had my p8z68 -v/gen3 board, this thread was a big help.
