Hi all, been looking to upgrade my server and ive been torn on what to get. On the High end i was looking at E5-2620s but im still tossing around the idea of a more budget friendly system which is what im here about
I can get an SR-2 for $325 refurbished on newegg and Xeon L5520's for $130 each. So thats $585. Passmark gives a score of 9035 for that setup and 9085 for a 2600k so would i really be better off getting a 2600k (or 2700k) over the pair of L5520s ?
