The same way. I have one of these cards too. I took the cooler off and it looks like it will work just fine. I'll report on my findings. I should have it fitted tomorrow.

I ordered the accelero hybrid because I dont have the equipment to fit H80 or H110 to my card.. best option for me is the "hybrid".

Man, that thing is expensive though. I did get the h80 onto the Zotac 670 very easily. The zotac also has a separate cooler on the VRM's. The ram wasn't cooled before at all and now I have a fan on them, so that should actually help. The temps are looking really good so far. Will report back when I stress it some. My second cooler should arrive Wednesday to fit the other 670.

It looks like you only have 2 zip ties on the cooler attached to the die. That's pretty poor seating and you really need to have all 4 zip ties on the cooler. 55c is actually pretty high for the mod, ive got a gtx 670 and thermaltake water 2.0, same as antec 620, slim rad and that tops out of 48c. Granted the cooler is lapped as well...
I would imagine with proper mounting you should be ~50c...

Well, I've got two h80's on my SLI 670 cards. Card runs at ambient on idle, maybe slightly below (not sure how that's possible)

On load during 3dMark11 my max temps are 41c, usually between 38 and 39c.

Here's the thing though; my 3dMark 11 scores shot up over 500 point on the gfx score with no change to the overclock. Is that normal?
I am super happy with the results of this little experiment. My rig is extremely quiet too, which is just awesome seeing such cold temps and almost no noise. smile.gif

Edit: Well during gaming on BF3 I never see temps above 40c. Unbelievable. The cards basically don't fluctuate more than 15c, ever.

This made a huge difference to my cards. They are stronger at the same clocks than they were before, which I really don't understand. But clock for clock these score better when colder than they do when hot. Now I just need to figure out how to get my CPU colder. I've got an h80i on that and it still gets up to 60c while gaming. I realize that's not hot at all, but man these GPU's are so cold and performing better it just has me thinking if the CPU would benefit too.
