That video was pretty good though.. I would probably freak out if my pants were suddenly smoking too. "Good" thing it decided to melt down after he got out, otherwise if he was driving and it decided to catch fire... that could have been a bad situation.

Gonna agree with Phae, most likely a battery issue. Have also seen it happen with many devices. It's a risk you take when you keep any modern electronic device on/near you.
