- I5-2500K you will OC to 4,6~4,8ghz or higher smile.gif
- 8GB G.Skill Sniper 1866mhz RAM
- 2x MSI 7950 Twin Frozr in CrossFire
- Asrock Z77 Extreme4 board
- 128GB Plextor SSD
- 1TB 7200rpm hard drive
- Cd/Dvd burner
- Corsair Carbide 500R case [White]
- Corsair TX850, 850Watt PSU
- Corsair K60 Mechanical Keyboard
- Razer Deathadder Mouse
- BenQ XL2420T 24inch 120HZ monitor [you can also get a 23inch Samsung for about the same price]
Total including a watercooled CPU for just 2338$
Sure some company must be able to buiild this for you for less then 150$ if you cant do it yourself.
Not a slightly faster 2011 CPU but you do get a very fast PC with crossfire, 120hz monitor, mechanical keyboard and it will look stunning thumb.gif
All colors are matching in this build.

I never knew how much cheaper it was just too build it myself..
The temptation..
I must do it...
I love you OCN <3

I managed it when I was in school, and in college lol. If its an interest that he wants to take to college with him then earlier the better, it really helped me.

Anyway, on topic.. The OP's build is it a bit extravagant. No need for 2 Mice etc. You could do better than $2500 if you have a thorough think about your parts.

Good look with your build!

Never worked in retail? lol. Its called upselling. These are all high markup items, the PC itself from NCIX isnt that much profit for NCIX.

i was suprised with the cost as well.

DIY is cheaper and more fun and you have the skills to upgrade or do a entirely new build

Just build my PC, minus the sleeving and dual HD7970's. I'm sure you can do it under $2500CAD

You're all pricing these parts IN AMERICAN DOLLARS.

I'm not sure why all the NCIX hate; I use them all the time pretty much exclusively for my PC parts. I'm in BC Canada and they allow you to price match pretty much any Canadian site and the build fee is only 50$. The shipping fees across the border are ridiculous unless you ship to a P.O. Box in the states and pick it up yourself.
I have had nothing but good experiences from them and they have pretty solid weekly sales/hot deals and with the Price Matching option are very competitive.

A couple things I would look at OP; look at a larger SSD; they are some nice 256GB and also 480GB SSD's for very reasonable prices >1$ per GB. If you want to install more programs for 3D graphics and such I think you would want as much space on your SSD as possible. 128 goes pretty fast once a few games are installed and programs; I wouldn't want to install my games on a 5400rpm drive, 7200 minimum. I have a 115GB SSD and currently would like to purchase a larger one as the prices are falling fast.

Also if your going to do a lot more than game with this; I would look at adding an i7 back in to the build just to be safe.
Otherwise that's a great build it's almost the same I currently own and really like Asus Mobos; I've purchased 4 and have had 0 problems.
690II is a fantastic case as well.

Good Luck and enjoy. thumb.gif

NCIX has estimates $300 in peripherals that you don't need and an additional $250 for install cost. That's 20% of your budget right there.

Thank you, SSD's are still so expensive o_O

I didn't read all the posts, but from what I did get, you're 13, your dad doesn't want to go through a ton of hassle with this, and you are looking to build a PC for under 2500. I bet if you go with one of the builds the guys here put together, for 1300 or 1700 (670 vs 670SLI), you will be extremely happy with it, and your dad will probably be happy to supervise for saving him 800-1200 dollars. Dont go with the prebuild stuff that you were originally going to do. As another member here posted, NCIX wants to sell you all of the stuff with high markups. You do not need 2 keyboards or 2 mice, the mouse pads, and all that junk they are making 150% profit on. It sounds cool, and I know its not your money, but resist the temptation, as you will only realize once you have it that it was a waste. Trust the members here, and you'll have a kick @55 PC for a lot cheaper. There is a reason NCIX is so happy to help, you are paying them a bunch of unnecessary money to do something that is seriously really easy to do. The most difficult, and it isn't really that hard, is mounting the CPU cooler. If you watch a couple videos, and are careful with all of your parts, this is extremely easy.

From everything I read I am putting all my trust in you smile.gif
I'm going to build it myself!!! biggrin.gif
I have no idea how to though....
Well anyways, Amazon or Newegg?
Which is more reliable?
(Btw, everything I got on NCIX is $300 less on Amazon. YAYYY $300 MORE TO SPEND)
