[Build Log] First Mod. '~Hydro-Flame~' HAF-932 **FINAL PICS** - Page 13

Thx guys. I never did put the back on, or manage the cables. My graphics card busted and I can hardly use the computer. The holiday break has slowed down the RMA from EVGA and eventually I'll have to replace the water block, which means I'll have to figure out how to drain my watercooling loop for the first time. And with crysis 3 coming out, I kinda want another gtx670 but dont really have the cash. When I look at this thing I get pissed at the void left underneith that GPU. I always imagined more hardware - a second GPU. The waterloop would look so much better.

I once hoped to be on MotM, even just to be considered, but now this project has turned into a long term personal endeavor. So things have slowed down (3 months of hell at work, trust me) but I figure maybe I'll wait a bit and save up for another gtx670 and waterblock, get this broken GPU thing sorted, work on the loop, and take some final pics when I'm done. Not gonna rush it though. I could end up adding little things here and there and never end up with a final product, but instead a constantly evolving work of art and engineering. If that happens I'll continue to post in this thread. Maybe some1 can learn from it one day.

Big props to n3farious for his build. Definitely lookin' amazing. And thx to the support from everyone else.

Thanks Roman! I like what you have done with your build and hope you get the chance to 'finish' it up with additional video card, cabling and whatever else you have on your punch list!
Hang in there.. setbacks are just to teach us patience! ;-)

Thx man. I replaced the card, put the back on and took some final pics. I'll add another graphics card soon but am broke right now so probably will do that in the spring or summer. Will improve the lighting at some point too. For now though it works just fine as the dream computer I always wanted and I'm glad to clean up my war-zone living room after nearly a year of living in a god damn scrap yard. Thx for following along and I've been enjoying watching your build too!

Anyhow heres some final pics, not too much new to add but whatever!

Wish I had something better than an iphone to take pics with frown.gif

Thx!

That was to make the red pop out, using its complementary color, and to give it that signature MDPC look. biggrin.gif

Nice work Roman! Usually I have an aversion to flame grills, but you manage to pull it off! thumb.gif
