I've been using filling folders to make duct work for years.

Cutting board, straight edge, scissors, tape and glue stick.

My sig has a duct from CPU cooler top fan out top.

Couple of pics of of CPU and GPU exhaust ducts:

Sorry about the quality. After these pics I removed and painted the ducts with black rattle can.

Best thing you can do to improve cooling is separate the hot air from the cool air. thumb.gif

That means dividers and ducts. biggrin.gif

Don't be afraid of wasting some paper. Flat surfaces and square lines are easier, but round / angled pieces are not that hard.

Take the fan / cooler and wrap paper around it. If you need to change the direction cut and fit to fan / cooler. Tape and glue stick are your best friends... well razor blade and scissors too. biggrin.gif Just keep cutting, taping, adding pieces until its what you want... It will look terrible. Not take your cutting instrument of choice and cut it into pattern pieces. Add an extra 1/2" for joining (overlap joints glued with glue stick). Once it's all together grab our rattle can color of choice and paint with light coats. Use satin or flat paint. It's very hard to get paper to shine... and matte finish hides seams and defects better too.

your pictures are confusing as hell

heres my suggestions, put a fan in front of your gpu, rig it so it fits behind your hdd cage
2, put a fan in your 5.25 inch area so it blows towards your cpu cooler

your side fans are optional, they would help, but get really low speed ones so the ones behind your hdd cage and 5.25 cage can push the cooler air towards your cpu/gpu

also more fans don't equal better cooling, my rig with just 2 fans cools better than my rig with 11 fans >_>

It should be fine.

Paper doesn't burn until it reaches 451 Fahrenheit (Ever wonder where they got the title for the book/movie?) or 232.78C. If anything in your computer gets the paper that hot, you got other SERIOUS issues.

hi,
the pics are confusing probably cos I took them while the pc is resting on the table and I'm taking pics from above.
I already have a fan in my 5,25bay. read my posts and you'll understand.
the case is not upside down or whatever, it just on the side on the table.

I have 1 120mm noctua fan in hdd area blowing toward hdds and GPU
and 1 noctua 120mm fan in the 5,25by blowing air toward cpu cooler. the other fans are visible on the confusing pics wink.gif.

I'll post some more pics later on.

cheers.

why dont save money for a HAF 912 and getting a 4 fans 3intake 1 exhaust it reduces GPU temps by 12ªC(24ªC in room) and cpu by 10 to 6ªC biggrin.gif
