Build me a gaming PC :)

Thread Starter
OK, so my little brother is wanting a new computer, he really only want's to game with it, so my problem is i've been out of it for so long that i'm not sure what's hot and what's not now so i'm turning to you guy's.

Would anyone be so kind as to suggest an entire rig (minus the case) for gaming, top end budget of £650 GBP.

I would prefer UK link's but i'm OK as long as i get the shown what to buy...lol

Thanks
-Kris

Do you need a monitor and mouse/keyboard?

Or just the box (minus case)

For now, assuming the latter.

oops forgot a HDD + £30 - 40 to final price.

But this is in my opinion a great system for the price, you could easily downgrade the PSU to something less beefy, get a 7900 for £50 more, change the case, take components like DVD etc from his PC.

Hope this has helped.
This is a rig i posted a while back, so price should have gone down etc + there you have enough Price room to get a Monitor etc

Hope this helped

We could short circuit the overclock.net server/psu. That would fry his brain!!!.
Of course then we'd be without overclock.net for awhile

Ace of Spades: That board won't support the Core 2 Duo.

My take (a tad over budget, but you can save by picking only 1GB RAM for now)

MoBo: Gigabyte GA 965P-S3 iP965, S775 £86.69
