help me create a network bridge

i am trying to bridge my xbox and my netbook so i can connect to xbox live but this happens

when i highlight both and right click, as you can see it does not give me the option to bridge nor does it let me click on any of the other things
please help, thank you for your time

you may need to set up the ip addresses on the xbox and the interface first maybe?

1. Plug in your XBOX
3. Open the network adapters control panel.
4. Right click local area connection and disable it.
5. Right click local area connection and click properties.
6. There should be a tab that says sharing go to that tab.
7. There is a box that says allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection. Uncheck it if it is checked.
8. Click OK and then right click local area connection and enable it.
9. Now select both your wireless network connection and the local area connection and right click and it should have the option to bridge connections. When you click bridge it will do its thing and should work when its done.

Didn't we tell you to use Microsoft ICS already? More posts doesn't change the fact that you can't bridge in Windows 7. Just listen. rolleyes.gif

no sharing options
and when i tried the Microsoft ICS i followed the instrutions but the buttons i was meant to click on were not there just like the sharing button is not there

what i was meant to do, note "Manage network connections"

Manage network connections was not there, i also tried searching for it in control panel

Wrong adapter. You want to share your wireless, not wired.
