According to DSOGaming, Max Payne and Alan Wake developers Remedy are setting the stage to announce Alan Wake 2. Although the company has registered the domain name AlanWake2.com a while back, it has recently updated the listing, suggesting a reveal in the near future.

Alan Wake was released on Xbox 360 in May 2010, while the PC version has arrived earlier this year. Also, a more shooter oriented spin-off, Alan Wake: American Nightmare, launched in February on Xbox 360 and May on PC.

Eh, I still never finished Alan Wake. Seems like a cool story, but the idea of a pistol and flashlight against occasional zombie like things isn't too appealing combat wise. I could be wrong and they combat advances and you get more stuff and more enemies, but unless I know for sure I doubt I'll finish it any time soon. I'd definitely say it's a great game, PC version definitely had justice done for it unlike most other ports, can't wait for Alan Wake 2 to come. Not because I'm interested in playing it, but since the story seems good and they at least treat PC gamers right.

Im already ready to pre-order

Max payne 1 & 2 are some of my all time favorite games. I also enjoyed alan wake VERY much, at first i thought i would not like it very much, but actually, i loved it.

Best wishes for Remedy, they simply put out good quality products. Something i really respect form a developer. (cough DICE cough)

I enjoyed Alan Wake 1 but not enough to get me excited about #2 nor to buy it. Maybe if it drops to $10. But heck, I don't even know the reviews!
Really liked Alan Wake....hated American Nightmare (I guess the repetition and the fact that I didn't get that it wasn't a full on game when I bought it). But if this is more like Alan Wake 1, it will be a buy for me.
