[GamersBook]Remedy Preparing for Alan Wake 2 - Page 2

I really loved the game. Although I didn't think the graphics were impressive at all in fact I think just about all the recent FPS beat it on graphics by miles, it looked like a console game. Nevertheless it was an interesting game and was enjoyed. I thought that american nightmare was part 2 though and the new one was going to be 3 ? Either way I will be getting the next one.
American Nightmare lasted me all of 4-5 hours (some of that just sitting on the pause menu when I was eating lunch). So it was not a full fledged game. If anything, seemed more like DLC. I totally thought it was Alan Wake 2 when I bought it...

I think the graphics were great. The scenery was very well done. Took me a while to beat because I would stop and look around so often. Was a pretty demanding game, but it ran well. Cannot wait for the sequel thumb.gif

AW 1 was really hard for me being I don't ever play 3rd person games but, it was really fun. Really enjoyed it. I'll buy this one.

The story and the graphics on the first one were good, but the game-play was repetitive & boring. They need to improve on the gun fights.

Anyone remember the hype around this game when DX10 was first being introduced. People were arguing whether it was worth ditching XP for Vista (DX10) when no games used it yet.

Even though its been out for 2 years, i still can't shake that original hype-then-DNF feeling.

I'll keep an eye out for it on a steamsale.
