Ive been doing some searching but no luck so far. I figured this thread would be as good a place to ask. I just got the Tesoro Durandal backlit version. Loving the keyboard so far. I replaced a Logitech Wave which started malfunctioning. What I liked about that keyboard, that they no longer do, is the dual Windows and Mac markings on the appropriate keys. I couldn't find anyone doing this. It's one or the other never both anymore.
So my question. Is there a key cap maker the does that type of key that would work with the backlighting and fit this keyboard. Cherry MX, I'm not sure about size, are all MX the same? I'm still learning. I had a CM Trigger, extracted and compared a letter key side by side. It seemed the Trigger's key was just a bit bigger. so I'm concerned about size and how to determine what is what.

Forgot to mention, the reason for Mac markings is I'm running a Hackintosh. When I got the Wave I had a Mac mini on a KB switcher.

Thanks for any tips! thumb.gif

Geeks that like keyboards...that don't have many expenses because they either live in mom's basement or never got married to a succubi.

Well, I 've meant just simple keycaps with common lettering, not such skull stuff. Those black keys, that are on the picture, if they are PBT.

I think it was a "Jack-O-Lantern" that sold for $300. But even factory 2nds have sold for $100 right before GH went down. People are crazy.

I was too busy enjoying a family gathering to get in on this EK sale, so I'll just have to wait on the next one. I refuse to pay secondary market prices. Actually... I'd have a hard time paying EK prices now. tongue.gif

What did EK sell them for before the most recent sale?

I was accounting for the people that have the mysterious things called "jobs." Most people that have jobs would rather make a payment on their car, mortgage, or other general expense before they dropped $300 on a keyboard key.

If I recall correctly the previous line of Click Clacks, which were listed as sold out on the EK website a few months ago, were $18 for a tri-color skull and $18 for a set of 3 factory seconds. I may be mistaken on the seconds price, as it may have been in the upper 20s ($28 or $29). Either way, they've clearly raised the price due to market demand. People are crazy for paying those second-hand prices for a piece of plastic.

I recall those same prices. And the funny part about 2nds is they just have a hole drilled in the back side because CC "didn't like the color".

I'm waiting on actually getting in on a GH buy straight from ClickClack (if the site ever comes back). I'd happily pay the $14 for just one for my esc key.

At least skulls have a longer-lasting appeal than the 8-ball fad of the late 80s / early 90s. Oh wait... there was just a group buy for that. tongue.gif
