Hi guys, I need a tad bit of help here
I am upgrading from a pentium 4 single core 3.0ghz prescott based computer, and want to build a computer with the fx 8120. Want to use it for pretty much everything: Gaming, making youtube videos, audio editing, and anything else i can find to dabble in!
I know the whole discussion about intel being better, and that the new pentiums and i3's can outperform the FX series in gaming. This is going to be more than just a gaming machine though, and I want to go with AMD no matter what.
So my question for you guys is, can you help me find a good build that can handle the majority of games that are out today where they will look ok at 1080p for a price of $900? This is without a case and I would prefer to use newegg only please! Although if there are better deals on other sites I will consider them/
Aside from the obvious, I will need an OS and optical drive. However i will NOT need a PSU
Also, microcenter is not an option.
