Even if I don't utilise this for whatever reason, thanks for making it available for the community, smile.gif

That's my main goal is to just offer it out so people can learn. Solaris is very useful to have under your belt. thumb.gif

One of my biggest mistakes was not purchasing a older SPARC sun server for $30.... redface.gif

Very interested if you get this set up.

Just out of interest, what version of Solaris would you be running?

Alright, I'm getting there. I'm going to try to put up a few zones on a server and see how many people want access.

So basically you'll get your own SPARC server that you can SSH into via a hostname. thumb.gif

Although I'm a newbie on this forum, I have a strong server Windows & Linux backbground. Solaris is something I have never played with before. I think I installed an instance of OpenSolaris, prior to that lineup being changed to Express. Otherwise, it's something I wouldn't mind playing with.

Here is a quick snapshot of the System Specs from Webmin:

348

Update: I'm also configuring the first few Zones. I should have them ready either tonight or tomorrow for everyone.

I'm still learning Solaris here, but are zones similar to virtual machine instances?
