This may be a dumb question, but how do you use more than 2gigs data a month on a smart phone? Is it business, or is it all social? I barely break 600mb a month (I got grandfathered into Verizon's unlimited data) and my wife barely breaks 1gig out of her 2gig plan.

I can't believe how high prices are for a simple phone. Oh wow, a text for $0.15+? that's how many kB of data? seriously?
Required data plans that start at 2gb?
Feel like going to prepaid, no way i'm going smartphone or 2yr contract with these prices. -_-

It's the carriers hindering what Jobs envisioned for iOS before it was even called iOS. See: tethering, Skype over 3G, Facetime over 3G etc. issues. Just like the music studios who forced Apple to include DRM on their music sales when iTunes was first launched. You'd be able to do a whole lot more with your phones if carriers didn't have so much control over what they let you use on their network. Wonder why it took so long for the iPhone to finally get on other carriers besides just AT&T?

I have the same problem here but I'm just gonna buy my phones full price and keep unlimited. Sold my iPhone to pay for half of my GS3 payment.

I refuse to let Verizon to screw me with limited data

It kind of sucks that the one x and s3 have the same processor my evo 3d has (im referring to the us version). I hate american carriers so much. I blame the lax attitude towards regulation of the american government
