Rate my rig and Mid or High end? - Page 7

For gaming? You're right where you want to be. For encoding? An i7 eats your CPU for breakfast.

I'd give your rig a 13, because the top end of the scale should be reserved for uber rigs.

I don't see why it matters. You are hardcore defending that your computer is a high end rig, when in the end, it's not. You have a great rig, but why make a huge fuss about how you saved money, and that your stuff is as good as the more expensive stuff? It seems like you want the community to justify your savings. You have a great computer, but you will see tons of the same all over this site. If you want high end, you have to at least go into SLI + i7.

Now if i were to make a box and whisker plot of Low end, mid end and low end. The guys you were talking about, would be one of those boxes that isn't really represented between the min and max. Those when you do statistics you don't use those values because they make it biased and false.
If you start comparing with those people, who have those kinds of setup then its like saying that everybody is poor in the neighborhood because there's a millionaire when in reality, the others have high income.

I understand where your coming from 100% the difference between what your saying is you want to know if you have high end performance when everyone is trying to compair you with enthusiast builds. Wanna know what I think? Screw em who cares what anyone elses opinion is lol its your computer not theirs tongue.gif

Next thing, you can do 3x670 on a big-ass 30" 2560x1600 with a bigger PSU biggrin.gif 3way sli or xfire is said to be micro-stutter-free so there shouldn't be any hesitation if you have the budget biggrin.gif There's only 1 game that could sweat tri-way 670 and that'S metro 2033, at 2560x1600, it's 60 fps biggrin.gif
