So, I don't know if this is the correct section to post this, but here goes: I started having an issue about 6 days ago, where when I would watch Netflix Streaming, after a few hours, I would lose video signal, my GPU fans both kicked up to 100% and a loud stuttering sound. At first, it would only happen after a few hours, then after only a few minutes of streaming Netflix. Then the night before last, instead of "freezing", the PC completely shut down. I woke up in the morning, tried to boot and the PC would shutdown after 2 seconds. I took my rig out, remounted everything and cleaned the dust off everything. The PC booted normally and I played about 5 hours of BF3 while streaming Pandora and no issue. However, that night, I went to watch Netflix and after 20 min, the freeze, lost signal and audio glitch came back. I rebooted my PC and tried this time streaming Netflix but without going in fullscreen mode. I woke up this morning and Netflix was still going with no crash after 7 hours. So, it seems to me the issue is going fullscreen, but why? I was only able to test this "theory" once and I will try it again tonight.
At first, I thought it was an issue with my GPU or my PSU. I've pretty much ruled out the idea of it being PSU related and am at either MOBO, GPU or GPU drivers may be to blame. What do you guys think? Please help!
