Rad Fans AP-15 Or NF-F12 ?

Gentle Typhoon AP-15 OR Noctua NF-F12 ?

I can't make my mind up between these 2 fans it will be for a 360 radiator and it's more & more looking like it will be the
Alphacool NexXxos UT60 Full Copper Radiator since being good with all fan speeds. This will be a push/pull fan configuration also.

GTs without a doubt produce lower noise levels when mounted to a radiator:
round10fantestresults.png?w=614[img]Noctuas do have a good noise quality where the GT can be a bit of a whine at some RPMs, I have yet to find a fan that even comes close to GT noise/cfm levels though. The NF does come with nice packaging and accessories, but it did live up to the hype in testing and really not much different in noise than any other good fan other than the plentiful accessories.

But as with any fan test I would suggest throwing out the noise meter all together and simply listen to the audio recording yourself. Every ear has it's own sensetivity to frequencies. Or if you bury the fan deep in a case behind rads or the environment is loud..the noise will be greatly baffled and differences become less and less pronounced.
