Corsair 300R and NH-D14?

Thread Starter
Hi there.

I'd like to cool my CPU better (I have a CoolerMaster 310 Elite Case and an Intel Stock cooler, so REALLY BAD) So I was thinking to buy an Corsair Carbide 300R and an Noctua NH-D14, but I'm not sure if the D14 will fit the 300R... Can someone PLEASE HELP ME .
Thanks in advance!!!!

As for height "This CPU cooler is 158mm in height and there isn’t a great deal of remaining clearance so the bigger flagships like Noctua NH-D14 and Thermalright Silver Arrow which are 160mm in height could well struggle to fit." - from Vortez review

it'll fit, you just can not go wild on the RAM height. the heatsinks on the RAM are the issues mainly.
secondly, some of the side panel fans may interfere with the HSF.

I can recommend you HAF 912 or Tempest 410on both fits but on tempest you can install upper fans when NH D14 is on on haf 912 doesnt

get HD 6870 do not get Hd 7770

700

there is a big difference at stock clocks but if you plan on ocing extremely (130mhz+ on core or more) go with 7770

I just wanna be a bit more futureproof and play BF3 @ 1920*1080 on good presets. And in Belgium I can only get single fan-non-oc/not in stock msi 6870... So I'm SURE of my MSI HD7770 OC... And now ass well of my 300R and D14... But thanks anyway for the help... To everybody
