I doubt it. I've been overclocking NVIDIA mobile GPUs with Afterburner for a number of years and have never had any issues with any of them.

I think no it can't. You're safe as long as you don't overvolt the GPU.

Either way the only thing I'd worry about is killing the fans sooner unless you alter voltages...then you need to worry about temps far more and over volting.

Since you're not raising voltages, the worst you could do is clock too high for the given voltage and cause the display driver to crash. Nothing to worry about as far as breaking anything though
