missing program x86\amd avt\bin\kdbsync.exe after installing 12.7

Also CCC, MSI AB and GPU-z are still showing 12.3 installed for some reason. Any idea how to fix these 2 issues?

I do see driver version 9.14.10.0924 in MSI AB so that must be 12.7 right?

I actually getting this (x86\amd avt\bin\kdbsync.exe) as well. I'm on 12.4, but I downgraded from 12.7 and shorty after I'm getting that message on every boot.

Both of you need to use the add/remove programs wizard to remove all AMD software. Once you've done that, follow this guide: http://pastebin.com/T7dKkPLh

Topgearfan's install of Windows smashed two different driver versions together. CCC should report NO Catalyst version number for the 12.7 beta, so if it says 12.3, Windows is being a jerk.

ka24e's problem is less concrete, but it looks like the Accelerated Video Transcoding (AVT) package didn't install right.

If the uninstall failed, there are still old driver bits lurking around. I would try repeating the uninstall process with my guide and stuff, then installing 12.7 clean.

Followed your guide and it seems to work. i no longer get the error message at boot. MSI AB reports just a driver version 9.14.10.0924 and no longer shows version 12.3 or even 12.7. The only thing I dont like is that AVG forces a new looking google page with their symbol above the search bar and there is no auto search anymore. Maybe I will just uninstall that for now. Thanks a lot for the help. I like learning new things and how to fix problems.
