What Would You Buy With $2500?

Thread Starter
Well the main reason i'm creating this is because I made a thread a few days ago about how I have $2500 to spend and if this rig is worth it.
That thread has now 27 pages and is getting really crowded and I cant read everything there and honestly some things just aren't helping me decide =/
So pretend I gave you $2500 to spend on Computer and Peripherals for your computer
What would you get? (You can spend only up to $2550 AT MAX)

Must include
Power Supply
CPU
Graphics Card
Optical Drive
HDD (or SSD or both)
Motherboard
Ram (4 GB or more please)
Cooling System (Air Cooler or Water Cooler)
Case
Mouse (You can have as many as you want)
Keyboard (You can have as many as you want)
Monitor (You can have as many as you want)
and any other peripheral or component you would like to add.

START POSTING AND HELP ME DECIDE WHAT I SHOULD GET FOR SUNDAY !!!

(I prefer Intel but AMD systems are fine too)

This really isn't the way to go if you want to get a nice build list made for you. First you want to change that title because you are probably going to get a million views with a million different perspectives like you did in your last thread. Second you have to answer a few questions:

What is this rig going to be used for?
Would you rather have on larger 1080P monitor, surround, or a single 1600P monitor?
If this game is for gaming then what games do you play?

There are so many variables that can change builds if we don't have your input. When it comes to mice, keyboards, and monitors I think it is best to simply make separate concise threads that have to do directly with just that. The same thing goes for watercooling. There are tons of different blocks, pumps, etc. that you can combine and make a loop and everyone has their own opinions. Once again figure out the basics of what is going to be in your tower and from there you can make a new thread and start figuring out what parts go with your components.

[Edit]
This is what I was trying to explain. Your thread is far too broad and now you're getting post that are pretty much useless and this thread is going to end up like your last one...

hmm a u3011, a gtx 690 or two 680s with both with waterblocks and a new bed.
kidding aside, refer to my build throw in 680s instead.
Power Supply: ax750
CPU: 3930K or a 3820
Graphics Card: dual 680's
Optical Drive: samsung blu ray drive
HDD (or SSD or both): two 256GB crucial M4's
Motherboard: Asus rampage formula IV
Ram (4 GB or more please): Samsung low profile 8GB dimm's
Cooling System (Air Cooler or Water Cooler) raystorm kit with rx360 rad, and d5 pump.
Case: shinibo xl or something else preferred NZXT switch would work as well.
Mouse (You can have as many as you want) cheap g500
Keyboard (You can have as many as you want) Coolermaster quickfire
Monitor (You can have as many as you want): monitor with 2560X1440/1600 resolution, microcentre has some cheap import one that would suffice.

As that is what I did last time , and I got a lot of posts anyways. Right now I just want to see what other people would get.
It's fine if they don't do the same things as me , i'm just asking and seeing what people would get with the money.

The cart from the previous thread, but you might as well upgrade the graphics card to 2x 7870s, or possibly even 2x 7950/670s if the budget allows it.

Edit: Check my newer post below.

Not really. I was subscribed to your thread for the first few pages and it got completely out of hand. If you answer the questions above I can help you but if you don't you're just going to get a million people just throwing random builds together with none of your input which is necessary to cater a build for you. What I'm trying to say is that you have way too much going on and you need to take things one at a time. You can't build a water cooling loop without picking your components and you can't pick your components without knowing what you will be using it for.

Might be a little tight for peripherals, but you could always downgrade the PSU to either a non-modular 750W or a quality 650W.

A 3DS SLI GTX 670 build.
3770k, 9GB RAM, SSD, 3X 24" 1200p monitors....something along those lines.

Or a newer version of my build with a 1600p panel. tongue.gif
