Please understand that I'm not trying to come off as rude or douchey and I apologize if I did. I'm just trying to clear up some (unfortunately common) misconceptions about SSDs. But okay, it's your money after all. Enjoy thumb.gif

What's with the abundant number of peripherals? For $2500, I would have just bough a mech keyboard, a G500 mouse, some AD700s and a Zalman clip-on mic. $250 total.
Probably much better than Razer/"gaming" branded gear. Would have put that money towards an SSD+mobo/psu/case improvement...

That's kinda crazy to get a low Res monitor just so in a couple years you will still be able to Max out games. With your setup you could Max out games with a 1080p monitor and get another 670 in a few years and still Max out games.

It doesn't make sense to cripple your games like that just so in a few years you can still play at Max settings.

You have a 670 right now so you might as well enjoy it as much as you can.

I would go for 3x catleaps! biggrin.gif

something like this....
i5-2500K
Z68 Extreme4 gen 3
2x4GB Samsung RAM
64GB or 128GB SSD
~500GB HDD
2xGTX 670s
NXZT Phantom or Switch
650W PSU (Corsair TX, Rosewill Green or Antec Earthwatts)
3 x Catleaps off of ebay

It should put you somewhere close to $2500.

Your basically throwing away a couple years of great gaming to make sure that games will still play just ok in 3 years. I don't think that is definition of future proofing.

I'm just telling you this because you have. Great card and are selling yourself short with that Res. You should return it and at least get a 1080p.
