I'm actually really liking this build if OP does not want to go custom water cooling. I would make a few small tweaks though:
Motherboard
If the OP is going to use all the features then go for that motherboard because it is simply an amazing board. If not I would say drop to the Asrock Extreme5 or the Gigabyte UD3
SSD
Great choice but would it be better to simply get one larger SSD? Better access times but write times with RAID 0 might be a bit faster. Either way is still great
Power supply
Definitely overkill. Could save a good chunk of money and get an AX650 or an X-650 and power two 680s in SLI

Everything else looks great. I think if you change the above things I noted OP might be able to sneak in another 680.

So you guys would rather have a 3930k with a single 680 over a 3770k with two 670s or 7970s?

The issue is that the OP is only using a single 1080 monitor so getting two of those is really unnecessary to go SLI/Crossfire since OP won't need it at that resolution.

Like I already said getting two cards for 120hz wouldn't be useless.

What happened to your other build? Seems like its a long story at this point but with that budget I would get 2011 for sure so here is mine:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor ($559.99 @ NCIX US)

Motherboard: Asus Rampage IV Extreme EATX LGA2011 Motherboard ($424.98 @ NCIX US)
Memory: Corsair XMS3 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($87.99 @ NCIX US)
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($109.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Hard Drive: Crucial M4 256GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($199.94 @ Adorama)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card ($407.55 @ Newegg)
Case: NZXT Phantom (White) ATX Full Tower Case ($119.99 @ Amazon)

Yea that's understandable. Here are a few from NCIX Canada:
Motherboards
GIgabyte G1 Assassin
MSI X79A-GD65
ASUS P9X79 Pro
Any of those will work great for the OP. The RIVE is a bit overkill for just about everyone. Any of the above motherboards will work incredibly well.
SSD
Crucial M4 256gb
Plextor M3 256
Unfortunately I couldn't find a 256 Samsung 830 but the two above SSDs are right on par. Between the Crucial, Samsung, and Plextor you pretty much can't go wrong. Pick whichever is cheapest at the time and you'll be perfectly fine.

Power Supply
Corsair AX650
SeaSonic X-660
Both of these platforms are great and really there isn't much of a difference between the two since they are both based off of the same SeaSonic platform. I would go with the Corsair since it's cheaper right now.

Well I give up on this thread since nobody is listening to anyone and OP hasn't made any decisions other then he wants one monitor. This thread is going to go on forever with people posting different builds but it's pretty much useless. If you want my opinion OP then send me a PM because I'm unsubscribing.
