MSI Z77A GD-80, USB 3.0 does not work as 3.0

Have problem with the USB 3.0 speed. whenever I plug in a USB 3.0 supported device, it only detected as a 2.0.

Mobo driver is up to date, just curious, is it I had to switch something on the BIOS?

Uhm I have this external HDD that will indicates blue light when it's connected to a USB 3.0, and if I plug it into a USB 2.0 i'll shows green light instead of blue, and yeah, the transfer rate is 18~20MB/sec, I'm pretty sure it's operating at a speed of 2.0

try re-installing the drivers? Go into BIOS try to find some setting called xCHI mode and set it to smart auto. Are you using Windows XP or Vista
?
