That I'm not sure, but at the moment few apps will even make use of more than 4GB. Many justify 8GB on price but never use it. BF3 and some video editing apps do use 4+GB. I don't know about your game creation app, but I guess you should mix and match and see what's best for you. If it might use 8GB then you could adjust the balance, i.e. by removing the cooler master hyper 212 +

Definitely ditch the Raidmax case. Stick with NZXT or Coolermaster. That extra few bucks you'll spend on the case for more fan spots and better cable management will be worth it later. I made the mistake of buying a 'cool looking' Antec 900, instead of a case with better cable management, and have been regretting it for the last few months. Also, I second the motion to bump up to the A8. The better built in graphics and clock speed will do better later on when he drops a new card in. Cheers!

Looks like that is $5 more, but still worth making the switch. M5A97 is fine for a Thuban, but the OP will do better on the Gigabyte board if he wants Piledriver later on. And it's got a better VRM setup.
