i7 with H100 Temps

I got a new CPU/Mobo combo a while ago. I got the i7 2600k. Quite a nice upgrade from my old processor. I used the H100 I had on my last cpu. I re-applied some new thermal paste to it. I used some Artic Silver 5. Temps arent really what I expected them to be. Gaming they hit around the high 40s, idle temps are low-mid 30s and its been in the 70*s(F) here lately. I understand its a quad core with 8 threads and all and Intel usually runs a bit warmer. But I have seen people with OCs of around the low 4s with this cooler and they have temps around mine. Seems like mine are a bit high. Was Artic Silver 5 a bad choice with the H100?

What are some of your guys temps with the H100 and i7 like?

High 40's isn't complain worthy my friend. Sounds to me like its cooling the cpu just fine.
