Yep. Confirmed this with the F3 I bought for review purposes.

PAN3305DK-H.

That explains quite a lot why the mouse seemed to have some form of acceleration, it just wasn't as precise.

Pick Logitech G400. Nowadays have the best sensor. Another interesting option also is Deathadder 3.5G/ BE .

Poor PixArt sensors - jitter, low maximum speeds, dull feeling. But for non gamer V-track has some use i.e. work on much more different surfaces.

Oscar software? Yes is very considered application. In Your place I would look for A4tech x748 or x738 with Avago.

It's the anti-vibrate/anti-vibrate laser that are Avago since they're not V-track. All V-tracks use pixart

V-track is unsuitable for gaming. Problem is widely understood precision (for example low perfect control speed).
