Derezzer Case Fan Setup

The stock fans are being replaced (except for the 200mm front intake) with eight Enermax TBSilence 120mm case fans. These fans provide a little better performance and quieter operation. Three exhaust fans are mounted on top, with three more intake fans located in the lower storage zone; two intake fans are also mounted on the side door to cool the GPU area. Just in terms of fan capacity, the lower storage zone has slightly net-positive air pressure; the main upper zone has slightly negative pressure. Overall, the case has more intake capacity than exhaust, making the build a positive air pressure design.

To help minimize vibration, Nexus silicon fan mounts are used throughout the case. One 140mm BeQuiet! Shadow Wings PWM fan is mounted in the rear of the case, and three more BeQuiet! fans will eventually be mounted directly on the Noctua NH-D14 heat-pipe. All the case fans will be controlled using the Cosmos II controller, except the BeQuiet! rear exhaust and heat-pipe PWM fans, which will be controlled by the CPU-FAN header.

What do you plan to do with the fan cables for the fans you are mounting on the side door? I tucked mine under the panel, but they still show between the hinge - was thinking I should have heat shrinked them.

Here is what they look like:

That's an excellent question; I'm still not sure where to route the side/GPU fans. I'm wiring up the other fans soon, as I deliberate what to do with the door fans.

Your neat idea just complicates the decision even more!

Derezzer - Mainboard Setup

The LGA-2011 socket design should bring down CPU return rates, since the lower-profile pins are now in the socket itself instead of the microprocessor. Installation has never been so easy. The Corsair DRAM modules are huge, and they set into place with very little fuss as well. The Dominator heat-sinks do not clear the NH-D14 heat-pipe with three fans installed, so they were removed:

You should use a H100 so the RAM is cleared.

Subbed.

What are you gonna do with those Ghost Recon codes?

I See! In the meanwhile, Corsair Not only make Copies from power supplies from Be Quiet, i See on the picture from Fans with the Blue rubber, that they also now copy Silent Wings Fans.
I am wondering if they have also Owen ideas

Although I despise coolermaster's pathetic attempt at psu's, they have their poop together on cases. I LOVE my cosmos v1 after a year. Very jealous that the v2 has 3 120mm fans on the top! Great looking build so far there sir.
