Samsung vs G. Skill Ram

Thread Starter
Well after tons of looking through in Ram I am now stuck between three memory kits between samsung and g. skill. I already ruled the corsair out so you don't have to recommend that to me. I have an I7 3930k with a RIVE and I will pair it with a Noctua NH-D14 or Silver Arrow. I'm going for 16gb so I either get two samsung memory kits or the G. Skill for the same price.

These:

Help please

Get the 30nms. Not entirely sure how well Samsung's RMA is compared with G.Skill is though.

G.Skill is good, but nothing near it's price comes close to the Samsung kits for overclocking. There's a huge like 500+ post thread about the Samsung RAM, along with a review showing they can OC to ~2133mhz, maybe higher.

So it's better to get the samsung ram then? I was considering since I heard how good it was but then I saw that it had higher Cas latency.

Unless you are a HWBOT user and are trying to set records, etc. No need to worry about timings. The samsung is super nice and you don't have to worry about those heat sinks on the other ram getting in the way either. Thanks

There's no way the G.Skill will touch 2000mhz. First thing I found (can't find the OCN thread off hand), Samsung kit hitting 2133 w/ 9-9-10-28-1T timings. http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/showthread.php?s=00a58a36ab21bd36583e1961e1f1e080&t=159320

edit- 9-10-10-28-1T, sorry.
