Hey everyone!

The time has come to make some decisions and finalise the build of my new PC. I decided to go with the SFF because I am looking for something small, discrete yet powerfull. I really wanted an iMac but not good value for the price, although if someone asks me design and OS are priceless. So getting to the point I think SG08 fits my expectations. I will use this little devil for games (from time to time but I want to have peace of mind in terms of gaming power of this rig for next 3-5 years - so I would only upgrade the GPU, maybe once during this 5yr period). The next usage would be some basic photoshop / adobe premiere work, I am not a pro but will need to do some video editing. And that's about it. I might connect it to my 40" tv to watch some blu-rays on rare ocassions. For everything else (daily) I will be using my 13" macbook pro.

I will not do any OC - I have no knowledge in that matter and I think this PC will be super fast without OC.

I am going to buy from A lot of things are out of stock so will have to wait 2-3 weeks. I have two options here though:

1) Buy separate pieces from scan shop and assemble them myself

2) Buy built system from scan's 3XS department - will pay bit more for assembly, will not have the exact items (mainly cooling), they can overclock it for me and test if its stable

The build specs:

Case: Silverstone SG08B
Mobo: Asus P8Z77-I DELUXE
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K
RAM: CML16GX3M2A1600C10 - 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance LP Jet Black, PC3-12800 (1600), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 10-10-10-27, XMP, 1.5V
SSD: 128GB OCZ Vertex 4
HDD: Seagate 2TB SATA III Performance Hard Drive ST2000DM001 7200rpm 64MB Cache
ODD: Sony Optical Blu-Ray Combo, BC-5640H Slot Loaded

Optional cooler: Noctua NH-L12 Low Profile High Performance CPU Cooler

Monitor: 24" BenQ XL2420T or 27" but will need to look for something decent.

I could go with AsRock mobo but would have to buy from different store so it will cost me more on shipping. I was thinking of maybe going with the corsairs WC kit but I'm not an expert so I might stick to air coolers.

If you have any suggestions then please indulge me. My first idea for this rig was mATX with Asus' ROG mobo with an option of going sli on gtx 670 in future. But that SG08 is just so cute.
