Ok quick questions, before i upgraded i had 6gb of ram and the usage of ram was barley hitting 3 gigs, not that i have 16 seems like im hitting well above that. Is it the more ram the computer has the more it uses?

Don't worry about it, the more stuff you can keep in memory the faster your machine will be as it doesn't have to drag stuff off a slow HDD, it's right there in fast memory ready and waiting.

Usually if the RAM is there, it will use more RAM.

usually 4 gb of ram and 4 gb of vram should do the trick ,the only reason most of us need a 8 gb of ram is because we cannot afford 4 gb vram card ,else everybody would be at 4gb ram & 4gb vram
