FX-8120, Corsair 600T

Hi guys

New to the forums, so thought I would start with a few bits about my system:

AMD Bulldozer FX-8120, 8-core, (3.1GHz) 4.1Ghz Overclocked.
Asus M5A99X Evo 990fx.
4 x 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz Corsair Vengeance (16GB Total).
Corsair H100 Water Cooler with 240mm Radiator.
AMD Radeon XFX HD6950, 2GB DDR5.
Antec 750W TruePower Modular
LG BluRay DVD ReWriter Drive.
Sony DVD-RW DL Lightscribe Drive.
120GB Corsair Force GT, SATA 3 Solid State Disk.
1TB Seagate, SATA 3 HDD.
1TB Western Digital, SATA 2 HDD.
500GB Hitachi, SATA 2 HDD.
Akasa MultiCard Reader with Bluetooth.
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.
Thermaltake 120cm G-Silent 1800rpm RED LED Fans throughout.
Corsair 600T Limited Edition White, Mid ATX Case with 200mm White Fan and integral fan controller.

Relatively new build for Video and Photo editing, plus a bit of gaming here n there. I own a computer repair centre in the Midlands, UK, and so we get a lot of folk in who want to progress into gaming builds and overclocking. Bit of an upgrade from my previous system - AMD Athlon X3 triple core job.... smile.gif

Few piccies below, let me know what you think:

You reckon? Wouldn't that put too much intake air in and not enough air going out.... ?

I used to have an Antec 620 in there in push/pull exhaust and temps were low (in a cramped Sharkoon case).

New 600T came a couple of weeks back so I put the H100 in as a replacement/upgrade, and now temps are even lower. Already got 3 intake fans at front (due to small mod), and then the others as exhaust?

Open to ideas as always. Not been into overclocking and gaming spec builds until recently.... my business partner is a die hard Intel fanboy and it makes for good banter at the shop!! biggrin.gif

I had better luck mounting my h100 as an intake in my 600T. Was also able to push/pull and get much better temps. Also pushed air to my 680 giving it way better temps now too. My gpu under load is almost 10c cooler.

How did you manage a push/pull config in the 600T... lol. oooops, edit, just noticed your location vertically alonside HDD bays. Another option indeed... smile.gif

Bloody Asus put the 8pin connector right at the top of the board, plus my heatspreaders on Vengeance ram also get in the bloody way. Looking for some uber slim 120mm fans.....

a couple of zipties and it doesnt budge or rattle. other than the really loud, okay relatively loud, corsair sp120 fans, its great. Plus I missed having the big fan uptop that put some light in my case.

Can't fault cable ties, my two fans at front don't move and yet held together by ties. Deffo not short of lighting in my case right now smile.gif

Just been having a kick around on FIFA, and CPU temp went up to a meagre 45c. Quite happy with that as it used to rocket before I had the Antec Kuhler - Arctic Freezer 13 was installed initially.
