Would it be wise to use a mini freezer as a case?

i've been thinking for a while if it is better to use a mini freezer than a normal small form mini atx case.

No you can't. All that heat will kill the fridge's compressor in no time so simply use a case, ok? wink.gif

you mean an actual mini fridge or freezer and building your computer in it? If so it absolutely has been tried , same as putting your entire computer in the freezer or running a rad into your freezer .. Now it doesnt work at all though, freezers or fridges arent meant to cool down something that is constantly warming up , its meant to take something from a fixed temp and cooling it down. The problem is the refrigeration unit cannot keep up and its not designed to run 24/7 , you will burn out the freezer in no time..

Newegg having a deal on their mini fridge again? I had the same thought and was apart of the same condensation argument previously at work.
