I'm asking in order to know which screen quality she used to. That's main issue with drawing, no?
I would recommend an external HD too, but that can be bought later, don't bother now.
There are laptops with 2HDD bays, but two things:
1. as said before, you can place the SSD instead of the DVD
2. You can use an mSSD instead of 2.5" SSD.
