Portable mATX "gaming" case suggestions please!

Thread Starter
Hello overclock.net!

I am looking for a good case that can be easily carried (perhaps with handle) that can also handle a full sized (not low profile) gaming card and a microATX motherboard and ATX power supply. I've looked at newegg but haven't really found anything spectacular (but maybe I wasn't looking hard enough).

In an ideal world the system would weigh less than 20lbs (case, psu, mobo, cpu, stock cooler, ram & video card) and be shaped so that I could easily carry it, maybe briefcase style. Hopefully for under $50. Anyone have any thoughts? Simple gaming build (for use on a 20" 1680x1050 monitor):

Intel Celeron G540
H61 microATX mobo
2x4GB DDR3 1333
SSD, probably 120GB
AMD 5750 1GB
400W Antec High Current PSU

I already have most of these components, just need a nice little portable case. This will be only for light gaming like guild wars 2 / TF2, etc.

The NZXT Vulcan has a case handle on it, it's great for LAN parties.
The Silverstone TJ08-E also works well with its 180mm cooling fan at the front and direct cooling from the fan to the motherboard and GPU. There's also plenty of room at the back of the case for cable routing.
If you really wanted to, you could go mini-ITX and use the Lian Li PC-TU200. Haven't seen much on it, but it looks great with the handle, aluminum anodized finish, and 140mm fan at the front. Looks like a briefcase to me.

Cool suggestion. The PC-TU200 is ITX so I can't use that. And as for cooling, it won't need much. System wont be using more than 150W really with just a 5750 in there. Ventilation yes, but the gpu fan & cpu fan would probably be enough.

The NZXT vulcan does look great but its a little pricey and a little heavy. A good starting place however, for sure.

A cheaper solution to the TJ08-E I posted earlier is the PS07. Exact same internal layout except for the front, where in the TJ08-E there is a brushed aluminum anodized finish and a 180mm fan, the PS07 has a plastic front and two 120mm fans. Both are still aesthetically pleasing, however (in my opinion). The TJ08-E retails for 97.99 (amazon) while the PS07 retails at 79.99 (amazon).

Those really nice looking cases. However, I finally did find something at newegg for super cheap:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811154094

$31 shipped. It gets good reviews but i'm sure its 0.5secc steel which means if I drop it, innards are probably done for.

360Just wanted to update this thread and say all I did was go to home depot and buy a $4.50 cabinet door handle and install it onto the top of a case I already had. In this case an In-win mana134. Works great!

Total weight of system is just shy of 18lbs

In-win mana134 w/handle
ECS mATX mobo
Pentium g630 w/stock HSF
2x4GB 1333 patriot RAM
AMD HD 5750 w/custom 120mm fan
Coolermaster 450W PSU
Patriot Pyro SE 120GB SSD
No case fans as case has tons of passive venting
