The choice is simple. Folding runs better on Nvidia cards; so if you have an Nvidia card, fold. Most BOINC projects (though not all) run better on AMD, so if you have an AMD card, BOINC. Since you have Nvidia, you can do the most good folding. wink.gif

May be hijacking of the theard and the question may be stupid, so dont kill me, but can someone tell me the point of folding etc exept to burn out the hw faster..?

I can! Uh uh, I know this one!

It's distributed computing, used by Stanford university to do research in proteins. Basically, a supercomputer spread all over the world smile.gif I believe. BOINC is similar, but used by a different university (I don't remember which)

Ah well, it's not killing the hardware as such, but it probably reduces lifespan a little. But hey, an excuse to upgrade when new treats are released tongue.gif

My friend bought that GPU recently, and it's bloody fantastic. Super cool (never exceeded 65 under stress testing in an RV02 case), super quiet, and super strong. Good choice thumb.gif
